Introduction: Making Stuff across Media

“I’m an artist,” John Lennon said, “and if you give me a tuba, I’ll bring you something out of it.” Whether I identify as an artist is beside the point. But yeah, if you give me a tuba—or any kind of tool—I’ll bring you something out of it.

This very website is a great example of what I mean. I knew content management systems when I started building it. Still, I wanted to challenge myself to do something new, something more than I’ve ever done. With generative AI by my side to help with the code (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and a little batch of ideas, I got to work. You’re now experiencing my end results.
